The ancient volcanic Somló Mountain imparts rich minerality, robust acidity and traditional healing properties to the wines. These wines balance the natural elements with the elegance of noble white varieties, creating harmonious complexity regardless of which aspect dominates momentarily.
Béla Fekete, the “Grand Old Man of Somló”, founded our winery in the early 1980s and steadily expanded it to 4.3 hectares today. From the beginning, we’ve maintained traditional vinification methods, allowing each wine to mature in the cellar for 3-4 years before release.
